01 / Practice

Four disciplines. One standard of proof.

We take mandates where the judgement matters more than the model — and we hold every discipline to the same evidence the ledger demands.

Engagements across the four disciplines since 2011. 1

02 / Disciplines

Read each one by its record.

01 Transactions & M&A Buy-side and sell-side counsel from first read to completion: diligence you can defend, a value case argued to the board, and a completion that holds. £2.4bn
02 Restructuring Balance-sheet and group reorganisation under time pressure — the entity map, the financing, and the sequence that gets everyone to one completion. 11
03 Capital & financing Debt, equity, and hybrid structures argued to the people who sign — including the ones that fund growth without spending control. 23
04 Governance & risk Independent judgement where the stakes outlast the deal: board reviews, succession, and the decisions a conflicted room can't reach on its own. 18

03 / How we work

A mandate runs in four moves.

01

Scope

A confidential first conversation: the decision, the constraints, and an honest read on whether we're the right firm for it.

02

Evidence

We build the case from records, not narrative — the figures that will survive a board's questions, each with its basis stated.

03

Counsel

A principal at the table for every material decision. You get judgement you can question directly, not a deck from someone you'll never meet.

04

Completion

We stay to the signature and the settlement — the mandate is closed when the decision holds, not when the invoice is sent.

04 / On the record

Completion is the only outcome we count.

We don't report pipeline or pitches. A mandate enters the record once, at completion — which is why the number stays small and means something.

96%

Of accepted mandates reached completion, 2011–2025. 3

Basis of figures

  1. 1Total engagements across all four disciplines, 2011–2025; the firm's own records.
  2. 2Mandate counts per discipline; a mandate spanning disciplines is counted under its lead.
  3. 3Accepted mandates reaching completion, of mandates accepted 2011–2025; withdrawn or paused mandates excluded.
